Welcome to Atlantic Surf School, for us families are the heart of everything we do! Whether you're looking for fun surf lessons, private session with all your family, or our family surf camps that are 5 days program, we’re here to help.
Our school is run by Zuhé and Marianna, who always have their little one, Koa, by their side. We’ve created a family-friendly, welcoming environment where everyone feels at home, from the smallest surfers to the biggest ones!

We take Safety as our top priority—our instructors are Garda vetted, have completed the Irish Child Protection Safeguarding course, and are qualified surf instructors with Water Safety Ireland diplomas.

Fantastic experience led by surf instructor Zuhe. Nice thick 4mm winter wetsuits made for a surprisingly warm surf, a thorough focused lesson was delivered before entering the water. After the lesson changing rooms and warm showers were made available in the state of the art National Surf Centre located beachside. I Wholly recommend this school for any visitors!

The Atlantic surf school is the best, super fun surf lessons with great instructors. It`s the best way to enjoy the beautiful Strandhill beach with its amazing wallpaper scenario. Its also possible to get accommodation at the hostel in which the surf school is and enjoy it for few days with friends or family.

We are located in the National Surf Centre in Strandhill, Co. Sligo.

No, we do not offer equipment rentals as it is forbidden by the county council because Strandhill Beach is a no-swimming area. It is important to get in the water with a surf instructor to ensure safety and proper guidance.
Each lesson includes a surfboard, wetsuit, and boots.
The total length of each lesson is 2.5 hours from the point a client arrives until they leave.
We offer male and female changing rooms with HOT showers and toilets at our surf school location. You can change in and out of your wetsuit and swimsuit comfortably before and after your lesson.
We recommend bringing a towel, sunscreen, water, and a swimsuit to wear under the wetsuit.
If you have your own surf gear, such as boards and wetsuits, you are welcome to bring them.
