WELCOME TO Atlantic Surf School

We're a family led surf school located at the National Surf Centre in Strandhill, County Sligo, and we are much more than a place to learn to surf. As parents, as instructors, and as members of this community, we care deeply about the people we work with and the impact that time in the ocean can have on someone's life. Our ISA qualified team speaks English, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese, because connection starts with being able to talk to each other, and we've built our programmes around the belief that the sea belongs to everyone, regardless of background, ability, or experience.

Accessibility Features

Parking in Strandhill is free, but it can get busy, especially at weekends in summer time. There are a few options: at the seafront there is free parking right along the beach, but these fill up fast. There's also a car park up the main road that is free, about a 5 minute walk back to the beach, a great option if the seafront is full. We have a wheelchair accessible bathroom on site. Good news if you're bringing the dog, dogs are welcome at Atlantic Surf School!
