Welcome to Atlantic Surf School
Where we believe that surfing is not just a sport, but a way of life. Our school is based in Strandhill, a beautiful coastal town in Ireland that boasts some of the best waves in Europe.
Our founder and lead instructor, Zuhé Coronil, is a passionate surfer with 16 years of experience and a love for the ocean that runs deep. Having traveled the world in search of the perfect wave, Zuhé knows firsthand the transformative power of surfing and its ability to bring people together.
Zuhé met his partner Marianna nearly 5 years ago and introduced her into the surf world, now Marianna has been riding waves all over the world and is a fully passionate surfer full of good energy and fully involved with the surf school. She will be the person welcoming you before getting in the water.
At Atlantic Surf School, our mission is to introduce as many people as possible to the joy of surfing. We believe that anyone can learn to surf, regardless of age, fitness level, or previous experience. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced surfer looking to improve your skills, our expert instructors are here to help.
We offer a range of surfing lessons and packages to suit all needs and budgets, from private one-on-one sessions to group lessons for families, friends, or corporate groups. Our lessons are designed to be fun, safe, and informative, with a focus on building confidence and helping our clients achieve their goals.
At Atlantic Surf School, we are committed to sustainability and respect for the environment. We believe that it is our responsibility to protect our oceans and beaches, and we encourage all of our clients to do the same. We use eco-friendly equipment and techniques whenever possible, and we are always looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint.

The Atlantic surf school is the best, super fun surf lessons with great instructors. It`s the best way to enjoy the beautiful Strandhill beach with its amazing wallpaper scenario. Its also possible to get accommodation at the hostel in which the surf school is and enjoy it for few days with friends or family.
Such an amazing surf school and hostel in the beautiful Strandhill. Really amazing views from the beach and when in the water. The surf instructors are so helpful, fun and so accommodating. The techniques that they teach and help you to practice will stay with me forever. It’s in the perfect location. Atlantic Surf School is about 1 min from the beach, cafes, restaurants and about 15min cycle from the Sunday market. Also near hiking spots which also have breathtaking views. Such a great place to stay, surf and chill with amazing people around the hostel and locality. Thank you Zuhe and Marianna!! <3
